Hello all! Spring is here and the tracks are starting to heat up. AETuning is doing some slight work flow modifications to how we do business. Eric has recently purchased an Evo VIII which will be able to do alot more product development with and hopefully put down some descent numbers at the track! Nick has really grown into the company and we have decided to give him full control of all suspension, wheel, and tire work. He will be doing are signature AET alignments and also advising on questions in regards to suspension and wheels. We hope to keep business going well and to have some powder coating going in full force

Calling out AET following DSM owners! The famous David Buschur, the man who started the DSM/Evo Shootout 20 years ago, is going retro for the 20th anniversity. After having his Evo whooped on the past three years by 1G Auto DSM's, he has decided to stop trying to beat them and just join them! Buschur has announced that he will be building a 91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD Auto Trans car that should be able to crack 8.90's. He is working collaboratively with big names in the DSM world like our friend Kevin K (Kiggly Racing), Jeff Bush, and even Reese Chassis who is building the NHRA approved cage with chute! Kevin is reported to be the one who will be driving the car, quite ironic... We at AET are all excited to see what Dave can come up with and will periodically post updates for those who don't have access to DSMTuners.com

For those who are gearing up for the 2012 race season right now, AET has you covered! We are offering, for the first time, vehicle sponsorships!! A small donation gets you sponsored by AET! Check out our Products page for more details and get that car ready for racing!

That's right everybody. AETuning is now on twitter so follow us today!! @AETuning. The blog will still be primary for info but tweets will get your attention!

Thanks to those who came to Buschur's 19th annual DSM/Evo Shootout last month and supported the DSM Community and AETuning! Had an amazing time as we do every year. Unfortunately the Black Bullet fell short of our expectations as we were having some runability issues so 11's still have not been met but a new best of 12.5 @ 111 does make me feel a little better about the weekend ;-P. Also, Club DSM Fort Wayne is having a meet Sunday, Sept. 18th. Please feel free to join AET and northeastern Indiana's DSMers for a post shootout cookout. The big news though is our master fabricator Eric has been working with the Indy Racing League series on and off throughout this season, and is currently in Japan working that circuit for this weekend's race! Pics and commentary will be posted upon his arrival! We are working on bringing more in house engineering and other design applications to AET, and want to start creating leading edge products for all of you so stay tuned with AET and get what is going to soon be the next great thing!

The shop is packed with more projects than we can handle. Project Black Bullett is making headway and the new clutch, trans, and tires and done and ready for the tarmac! Special offers are on the way soon so keep checkin back and see what we are doing at AETuing!

Just this past Sunday was the 2nd Autocross of the season. Nick was unable to attend due to personal matters but Corey was ripping it up in his RX-7! The wet pavement made for a difficult day but Corey still finished top 15 Overall times but fell short in his class again. On a lighter note, this Sunday is the Winged Warriors VII charity event in Indianapolis! AET will be there along with many shop and customer cars! Come on down to Lucas Oil Raceway Park May 22nd and help support Riley's Children Hospital at Winged Warriors VII.

Our first autocross of 2011 was a success! Nick's Sentra made large improvements over last season with those new tires and brakes! Big ups to EBC and Nitto! Nick won his class, STX, and came close to making top 10 overall lap times, falling short only to a Nationals level Civic and a long list of Subies. One of our sponsored drivers, Corey, also did very well in his 1st Gen RX-7 rockin' a 13B and carbs!! He fell a little short in his class but came only 2 spots away from top 10! Congrats to both these guys for an awesome season opener and we hope to have

Big progress made on Nicks Autocrossing Sentra this week! New rotors and EBC pads are going to make braking in corners a breeze! First Cross is April 17th, just need to break in those pads and get the new shoes on it and we'll be ready to go! Here are some install pics of the brake set-up. Check back for Black Bullett updates!
